Jeff Heggie is an entrepreneur and success coach with a passion for helping others achieve their biggest dreams.
Jeff teaches people to become optimal performing entrepreneurs. He starts with a focus on mindset. Taking his client and their business to the next level always begins with the right mindset.
He's works with athletes as a mental game coach to show them how to reach their full potential by taking it beyond the physical aspect of their sport through The Confident Athlete Program.
Jeff enjoys using his extensive experience in the banking industry, over twenty years as an entrepreneur, plus his training and experience as a coach to help his clients break through the mental and physical barriers that hold them back.
Jeff and his wife, Tamara, both grew up in Southern Alberta but now make Arizona home. Family and sports have always been important to him. He loves spending time coaching or watching his kids. He’s a former professional rodeo cowboy and has over twenty years’ experience coaching basketball.
Sports have always been a big part of Jeff's life. Jeff attributes many life lessons from what he learned as an athlete and from great coaches growing up. Jeff played many different sports including hockey, boxing, football, baseball, golf, basketball, rodeo, and others.
Coaching turned into a passion for Jeff for a number of reasons. It gives him the opportunity to stay connected with the sports he loves, plan, strategizes, execute, teach, and build relationships. Coaching has also been an opportunity to be involved with his own children. He's coached his kids teams in baseball, football, and basketball. Coaching his daughter, Tia, through her high school years in Arizona has been one of his favorite coaching memories.
Banking After graduating college with a major in Entrepreneurship, Jeff was offered a great job at a bank. However, Jeff was far more interested in his Professional Rodeo career at the time. Eventually he went back and accepted the position at ATB Financial.
Jeff quickly climbed the ladder and had the opportunity to manage his own branch in Cardston AB. As a full service manager he managed the branch but also worked with all the farming and business clients, which gave him an opportunity to watch and learn from many different entrepreneurs.
Kodiak Mountain Stone Jeff was sitting in a banking client's office, Dal Zemp, and started looking through a manufactured stone catalog on Dal's desk. Shortly after, Jeff left the bank to partner with Dal and start a manufacturing company to produce artificial stone veneer. They opened their first factory in 2005 in Cardston AB and in 2006 opened their second factory in Springville UT. Eventually they opened their own retail locations as well and expanded into natural stone, brick, acrylic stucco and more.
Coaching Jeff's love and experience with entrepreneurship, sports, and helping others succeed has brought him to a point in his life that allows him to do what he loves.
Through The Confident Athlete Program he continues to work with athletes to develop their mental strength and reach their full potential. He loves this program because it helps the athletes become better at the sport they love, but everything they learn in the program are life lessons they will carry with them in whatever they do.
