Tyson Durfey is the 2016 World Champion Tie-down Roper!

In 2016 Tyson won Round 6 and placed in six rounds to rank second at the Wrangler NFR. This helped him climb from 14th to Number One in the World Standings!

Tyson isn’t most proud of his accomplishments in professional rodeo or the businesses that he has….it is his family. Tyson always says “what good is it to gain the world but lose your soul.” To him his family is his heart and soul. Its is the reason he strives for excellence in all that he does. He realizes that winning a rodeo or in business today is good but it is not as valuable being a father to his kids that are the future of everything.

Tyson is married to Australian Recording Artist Shea Fisher. She has had 5 number ones in Australia and continues to chase her passion for while running Shea Michelle Buckles and being a mother to their children Praise, Risyn and Tyen.

At the end of the day Tyson’s priorities fall into this order Faith, Family, and Business. He has a passion for all but Faith and Family come first.
