Starting vs Impact

It’s not about starting, it’s about impact. South Carolina women’s basketball team’s bench averages over 41 points a game while Duke’s bench produces over 31 points a game. These players focus on what they do with their minutes vs whether they start or not- no wonder these are 2 of the top teams in the nation.

In today’s world, athletes and parents often focus too much on starting. Shift your focus from starting/playing time to making an impact during the time you get.

Quest for Greatness

Quest for Greatness is one of my favorite chapters in Challenger Deep because it speaks directly to what separates good from great—not just talent, but clarity of purpose.
